8 Steps To Make Today Your Day.

Everyday deserves to be filled with the right amount of happiness, satisfaction and growth. Want to make each and everyday the absolute best? Here’s how to:

1. Start your day by thinking about all the things that you are grateful for.

It will instantly raise your spirits and you’ll take on a more positive approach to everything throughout the day.

2. Write down what you expect to get done today.

But make sure not to overburden yourself and set a goal that you know you can achieve. Doing so will provide you with a sense of accomplishment throughout the day, as you tick off each task.

3. Eat a healthy breakfast.

The importance of this step cannot be stressed enough. Taking a nutritious breakfast will not only ensure that you are at the top of your game each day, but it has also been proved to improve one’s mood. Everyone knows that hunger pangs create an angry monster no one wants to talk to!

4. Conciously remind yourself to be optimistic.

Confidence is the key to success. If you want to wing, you should look at each challenge under a positive light. Know that you can and will succeed. You go Glen Coco!

5. Be nice to others.

Complimenting your friend on her hair won’t just make her day; it will make yours too. You’ll be rewarded with a handsome amount of satisfaction all throughout the day.

6. Challenge yourself.

Do something you are afraid to do, daily. Whether it is opening up to someone or public speaking, doing so daily will ensure that you are growing into a better person each day. Not only will you feel brave and accomplished, but you would have also eliminated a fear of yours. And if it flops? Well failure is the best teacher! Better luck next time.

7. Contact someone you haven’t heard from in a while.

Life is hectic and sometimes we forget to stay in touch with people who mean a lot to us. Make the first- or the first phone call- some relationships are worth the trouble!

8. Get some exercise.

Even a brief run will do- just get that body moving. Exercise is the best stress reliever and it boosts the production of feel-good hormones. What are you waiting for? MOVE.
